🧼 EBaM and the diversification of activities: beyond agriculture

In its mission to combat poverty and promote the self-reliance of vulnerable communities, EBaM NGO does not limit itself to agriculture alone. The organization has also committed to manufacturing essential goods, in partnership with missionaries from Heartland Church.

This collaboration aims to strengthen local capacities and offer beneficiaries diversified economic opportunities, tailored to the daily needs of rural families.

🧴 The EBaM detergent manufacturing company, with the technical and material support of Heartland Church missionaries, develops production activities for detergents and cleaning products such as:

  • Solid and liquid soaps for personal and household hygiene,
  • Laundry and dishwashing detergents,
  • Disinfectant products for the maintenance of homes and schools.

These locally manufactured products allow for:

  • to reduce dependence on costly imports,
  • to promote hygiene and public health in communities,
  • and to create direct jobs for widows and unemployed youth.

🥖 Food Production In parallel, EBaM is involved in agri-food processing to add value to local harvests and guarantee healthy and accessible food. Activities include:

  • The production of corn and cassava flour,
  • The processing of cereals (sorghum, millet, rice),
  • The production of palm oil and other vegetable oils,
  • The establishment of small units for the preservation and packaging of products.

These initiatives enable:

  • to add value to local agricultural products,
  • to secure the food supply for families,
  • and to generate additional income for the beneficiaries.

🤝 A partnership full of hope. The collaboration with Heartland Church provides invaluable support:

  • Technical support and training for beneficiaries,
  • Material and financial support for the installation of production units,
  • Spiritual and moral support, strengthening the solidarity and resilience of communities.

🌍 Towards complete self-sufficiency. Thanks to these initiatives, EBaM goes beyond simply feeding people: it also empowers them to produce, process, and consume locally, while creating jobs and improving hygiene. This integrated model contributes to:

  • food self-sufficiency,
  • financial independence,
  • and the improvement of living conditions for widows, orphans and vulnerable young people.
